- License
- Commercial, licence perpétuelle par appareil (~163 $ pour une licence NVR universelle)
- Platforms
- Windows, web, mobile
Axis Communications' full Windows VMS, with encrypted P2P remote access via Axis's own mediator servers and AI object analytics. Not yet benchmarked on our test bench.
Strengths
- Perpetual per-device licensing with no forced subscription; supports third-party ONVIF Profile S cameras.
- AES-256, HTTPS and TLS 1.2+ throughout, plus native AI object analytics and forensic search.
Limitations
- Third-party ONVIF cameras work, but full feature/performance integration clearly favours Axis's own cameras.
- No native facial recognition — only via CyberLink FaceMe integration; encryption of stored footage specifically at rest is not clearly confirmed.
