Strengths

Fully vendor-neutral (Genetec makes no cameras) — thousands of ONVIF-compliant models across dozens of brands.
Fusion Stream Encryption: AES-128 in transit AND at rest, with per-minute rotating keys — genuine encryption at rest.

Limitations

Enterprise-priced (quote-based, capital expense) and server-heavy — built for airports/transit/critical infrastructure, not home use.
No built-in facial recognition — only via third-party partner integration (CyberLink FaceMe).
