A scalable open-source recording agent (MIT) with optional AES/RSA encryption of recordings — rare among self-hosted NVRs. An optional paid Hub adds central multi-camera overview. Not yet benchmarked on our test bench.
Strengths
- MIT-licensed and free for commercial use; scales from a Raspberry Pi to Kubernetes fleets.
- Optional end-to-end AES/RSA encryption of recordings and livestreams — one of the few self-hosted NVRs that offers this at all.
Limitations
- No built-in facial recognition documented for the Agent itself.
- Web UI only per camera feed — no desktop or mobile apps at the Agent level (the paid Hub adds a central dashboard).
