Reolink

Not yet benchmarked

Brand: Reolink
Integration family: Local RTSP/ONVIF (wired/PoE)
Noviscan integration: Easy (local RTSP/ONVIF)

DIY/prosumer favourite: wired/PoE models expose native RTSP/ONVIF and record locally with no forced cloud. Not yet benchmarked on our bench.

Strengths

Genuinely local-first: free microSD/NVR recording, on-camera AI, account only for optional remote.
Native RTSP/ONVIF on wired/PoE — integrates cleanly with any VMS (Noviscan included).

Limitations

Battery/WiFi (Argus, Atlas) and 4G/LTE models expose no standalone stream — hub/NVR only, and their Home Hub carries its own documented weak-credential flaw (CVE-2026-57473, CVSS 5.8: adjacent-network credential brute-force on firmware before v3.3.0.456_26031911).
Documented CVEs (e.g. CVE-2024-48644 account enumeration on Duo 2).

Criteria

Local RTSP/ONVIF stream (works with third-party software)	✓
Local use without a mandatory vendor account	✓
Local recording without a cloud subscription (microSD/NVR)	✓
Facial recognition available	✓
