US prosumer brand (Dahua OEM) with broad ONVIF/RTSP and a documented HTTP CGI API — one of the smoothest integrations. Not yet benchmarked.

Strengths

ONVIF Profile S/T + dual RTSP + CGI API; works with Blue Iris/Frigate/Synology/Milestone.
Cloud optional — no account needed for local RTSP/ONVIF; microSD/NVR recording.

Limitations

Facial recognition only on some AI NVR models, not brand-wide.
Documented CVEs (e.g. CVE-2024-12984 info disclosure).
