   GPLv2, long-lived and stable, with the widest camera support (IP, USB, analog).

   MIT, self-hosted and local-only, with built-in face recognition (dlib) and hardware acceleration.

4. ShinobiNot yet benchmarked

   Lightweight Node.js core (CE is GPLv3/AGPLv3), easy multi-arch Docker deployment and a plugin ecosystem.
